This blog is a collection of photos taken via SLR and cell phone in and around downtown Las Vegas, Nevada. While most people think of the Las Vegas strip and the casino-hotels when they think of Las Vegas, downtown is filled with people living it up, people living a hard life, business people and an odd mix of art, cultures, history and showmanship. It captures a lot of the flavor, beauty, poverty, joy, hardship, sweetness, cynicism and design of our city in the desert.
